As the Moon orbits the Earth, sometimes it's path can align with that of the Sun's, causing an eclipse. Similarly throughout life, we may encounter obstacles that restrict our path and cast a shadow on our happiness.

WHY COUNSELLING?
Counselling offers a unique opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings with a trained professional, who can support you in a safe and confidential environment. It allows you the time and space you need to explore aspects of your life that are troubling you.
A counsellor will not give you their opinion or advice but will listen with a non-judgemental attitude, helping you feel empowered to find your own solutions. They will be understanding & empathic of your story and help you gain a greater understanding of yourself, your thought processes and your emotions. Counsellors encourage you to be open & honest and will either guide you to implement positive changes or find more effective ways of coping.

WHY ECLIPSE?
Historically, eclipses were viewed as a sign that a great change was coming. The Sun represents ambition & purpose, clarity, inspiration & direction; an illuminated path. The Moon symbolises mystery, intuition, emotions & personal needs. With this in mind, the eclipse signifies that 'something', be it internal or external, is blocking our path in life and a change is needed to move forward.
That is the vision at Eclipse Counselling: to embrace change & work together through the shadows to re-align you with your light.
